Terms of Use

1. Agreement to these Terms

By accessing or using RosterCap, including by continuing with Google Sign-In, you agree to these Terms of Use and acknowledge the RosterCap Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

RosterCap is a KHM Fantasy Sports product. In these Terms, “RosterCap,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to the operator of the RosterCap service.

2. What RosterCap provides

RosterCap is an independent fantasy sports management tool designed to help users organize fantasy rosters, depth charts, contracts, salaries or budgets, future assets and transaction history. Features may vary by sport, league configuration, account or stage of development.

RosterCap is not a sportsbook, gambling operator, fantasy contest operator, payment processor, league commissioner service, legal service, financial adviser, or official source of professional-sports contract information.

3. Accounts and authentication

RosterCap currently uses Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and devices and for activity performed through your authenticated RosterCap session.

You may not use another person's account without permission or attempt to bypass authentication, access controls, row-level security, rate limits or other technical safeguards.

4. Your Front Office data and uploads

You retain responsibility for the information, logos, files and other content you choose to enter, upload or import into RosterCap. You grant RosterCap the limited permission needed to host, process, reproduce and display that content solely to operate, secure and improve the service for you.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have any rights, permissions or licences needed for content you upload and for complying with the terms of any third-party source from which you obtain or export data.

RosterCap may provide CSV import tools for third-party fantasy platforms. Import compatibility does not create an affiliation with or endorsement by those platforms.

5. Accuracy of fantasy, salary and contract information

RosterCap is a tracking and management workspace. Information may be entered manually, imported from third-party files, configured by users, or calculated from user-selected league rules. RosterCap does not guarantee that player information, salary figures, contract terms, cap consequences, draft assets, transaction effects or other fantasy information is complete, current or error-free.

You are responsible for verifying information that matters to your fantasy league and for confirming that RosterCap settings match your league's rules.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use RosterCap to:

• violate applicable law or the rights of another person;
• upload malware, malicious code or content intended to disrupt the service;
• probe, scrape, reverse engineer or circumvent security controls except where applicable law expressly permits it;
• gain unauthorized access to another user's account or Front Office;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with another organization;
• use the service to facilitate fraud, unlawful wagering or other unlawful activity; or
• consume service resources in a manner intended to interfere with other users.

7. RosterCap and KHM Fantasy Sports intellectual property

The RosterCap name, RC logo, interface design, original software, documentation and related KHM Fantasy Sports branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for rights expressly granted by these Terms, no ownership rights are transferred to users.

8. Third-party names, marks and services

RosterCap is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or officially connected with the NHL, NFL, NBA, MLB, Fantrax, Google, Supabase, GitHub, their member clubs or other third-party services referenced within the product.

Third-party names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used, where applicable, only to identify teams, players, sports, platforms or services.

Third-party services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies. RosterCap is not responsible for changes, interruptions or errors in third-party services.

9. Availability, beta features and changes

RosterCap may add, change, suspend or remove features. Some sports, import adapters, calculations or workflows may be labelled as testing, beta or early access. Data migrations, maintenance, service-provider outages or software defects may occasionally affect availability.

Where practical, RosterCap will aim to preserve user data and working compatibility, but uninterrupted or permanent availability is not guaranteed.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RosterCap is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties or conditions of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, security or non-infringement.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RosterCap and KHM Fantasy Sports will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for loss of fantasy-league opportunities, rankings, prizes, profits, data or goodwill arising from or related to the service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, the total aggregate liability arising from or related to RosterCap will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid for RosterCap during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim and CAD $50, except where applicable law requires a greater remedy.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using RosterCap at any time. RosterCap may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the service or other users, respond to unlawful conduct, enforce these Terms or discontinue the service.

Sections that by their nature should continue after termination, including intellectual-property, disclaimer and limitation-of-liability provisions, will continue to apply.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer or other laws in your jurisdiction require otherwise.

14. Changes to these Terms

RosterCap may update these Terms as the product changes. The effective date will be updated when changes are published. If a change materially affects existing users, RosterCap may provide additional notice where appropriate.

These Terms are a practical production baseline for RosterCap and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before significant monetization, paid subscriptions or broad commercial launch.
